All of us – Rod, Maria, Sara, Brittney and Katherine – wish you the best holiday season, and a New Year filled with peace, happiness, health and success – and some great wine as well!  On behalf of our customers we have made a donation to the Salvation Army, to be used where there is the most need.  Years ago Katherine was the Special Events Co-ordinator for a major department store.  The Santa Claus at the downtown store was also a fireman.  He asked Katherine to consider donating to the Salvation Army any time she could, because they were always the first on the scene at an emergency, and the last to leave.  They give help and hope and ask nothing in return.  It’s a gift we’re happy to give.  Thanks to you all for making it possible.

South African Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon

Sauvignon Blanc has wild, herbaceous flavours and tart, grapefruit-like character, which shows strongly in the young wine, while Semillon has flavours of honeydew melon and sweet honey that take a bit longer to come out. Together the two grapes make a lush, balanced wine with great up-front fruit and a satisfying , rich finish.

Washington Meritage

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot, this wine features great extract, deep colour and intense aromatics of dark berry fruit, cassis, peppery spice, cedar and smoke. The seductive nose of this wine foreshadows magnificent texture and flavour, including dark berries, liquorice, vanilla and warm brown spices that glide across the palate.
